Spikes AK dynacomp on the way. Expect a comparison in the review thread once I do, no brake vs SLR101 Bulgarian vs spikes

Let me know when you're gonna do the comparison.

I can bring a couple AK muzzle options as well.

I usually go to the range on Thursdays since I work weekends. I'll probably go after the holidays, maybe first week of Jan. Now its time to get some ammo.

How loud is the FSC 47? I was reading it helps with muzzle lift but the sound is really loud....

I tried the jtac and it is louder than the humble slant brake. I have ordered the fsc and will give a try when it arrives. I expect the blast to also be more than the slant brake. Incomparision I am amazed at the blast from brakes on short barrelled 223 ars. These type of brakes kinda deminishes the practicality since it creates another problem.

Been speaking with combloc customs a bit over the past few days. Looks like I'll be getting a custom plum finish on an Ironwood designs wood set for my SLR.
I was completely surprised when they said they could indeed mix up a custom plum color :geekdanc: :worship:  :shake: ...More details to come.

Can anyone give me some sources for parts for milled aks? Is it possible to get a folding or collapsible stock?

Where can I buy hand guards, grips, and brakes?

K-Var has many polymer stock sets for milled AK rifles. In order to put on a folding stock you have to remove the bottom tang or both tangs. Ace has folding stock adapters available and FAB Defense is working on releasing their milled AK stock adapters. As far as I know grips for stamped and milled models are interchangeable. I went with the US Palm grip and it fit just fine.
For a muzzle brake many are available for both 14x1LH and 24x1.5RH threaded barrels. What model of AK do you have?
