    They probably knew but said "f**k it..."

They had them on video should have chained the gate and have hpd deal with them.

 Effective Saturday, June 3, 2023: For rifle range targets, center of lowest target must be at least 5 feet from the ground.

I just measured my rifle frame and it is four feet tall.   

I do not see a maximum height so I'll just buy ten foot 2" x 2" posts then the center of my lowest target will be seven feet above the ground . . .

Mine are all 4 feet tall to fit in the bed or across the back seat.
I like the 10 foot idea. Even 8. Red flag out the back of pick up.
Or red flag. Hatch back bungee corded down. 

Someone gotta bust out the 10 foot high stand. Take pictures.

Home Depot doesn't have ten foot sticks, only eight feet.  I may have to buy four eight footers, cut to five foot lengths, abd put bolts through the legs (like my pistol targets) to get my ten foot high target frame.

My thought on the opening weekend of the range that it was a display of City control.
There were 5-6 non-range, admin folks corralling shooters into lines and checking IDs. Lots of empty tables during relays but they couldn't be immediately filled by people waiting because of the City's processes. It was inefficient and dumb. There were about 2 City personnel wearing cloth masks to protect them from lead exposure. OK....

Someone show up with a 10 foot by 1 foot TARGET. then the bottom of the target will be on the ground and the top will be 10ft in the air, and the center will be 5 feet. compliance!

I'm going to make an extension to my 4 foot frame with another 4 foot of wood with bolts and wing nuts so it'll fold up and fit in my car

I’ll just wait for clarity on the frames.  I’m guessing they’ll limit the height.  Also, I’m thinking I need to make more wedges.  Higher targets will probably move more in the wind
