I had my CCW since July .
 I went and purchased a new Springfield 1911 on August 2nd. 
August 3rd, went to HPD today to process PTA, waited 20 mins to receive PTA paperwork.
Went back to LGS to pick my new 1911.  One advantage to having a CCW permit !

Yeah if you have a permit to carry take advantage of the perk of not waiting the 14 days now because they will be changing that rule soon enough

The amount of time taking to process the ccw apps is reprehensible. Isnt that kind of delay a 2A violation in of itself?  Are there any lawsuits being filed against HPD?

I forgot about that part.  makes me want to buy another handgun. but too bad I'm broke  :'(

only when you pick up your CCW permit it costs $10 per firearm that you are approved for

I just saw one of the guys who did the same ccw class as me the other day. we did a class around mid December. He applied before Christmas and is still waiting.

damn okay he got me beat by about 60 days lol. I just resubmitted my updated handgun affidavit last week so I hope I get some good news soon :grrr:
