I was chatting to a guy on FB, someone I never met before. Said he was in the military and wanted to be a firearms instructor and start his own business. We take a local training class together.
On training day, we link up. He's all kitted out, the only one. Ballistic helmet, ballistic face shield (the one inch think kind), goggles, tactical vest, plates, side plates, gloves, everything else. I look at him and I'm thinking should I tell him. For all I know maybe he can run 10 miles in that stuff. So I just tell him maybe you should start out light, get used to the training first. He says he was in the military and he trains with that stuff, he can handle.
Hour later heat casualty. Not to mention muzzle discipline issues. He may have had some mental disabilities.
