You said 3 officers assigned, not 3 officers per shift. So using your own reasoning you must have believed there was only 1 officer on duty? 3 officers per shift does not make any sense by any measure. Either the officer misunderstood the question or you misunderstood the answer.

I gave you the phone number so you could find out for yourself, I said you don't have to take my word for it.

Just because you were told something doesn't mean you were given the right info for what you thought you were asking.  It would not be the first time you made that mistake!   :geekdanc:

He said 12 assigned and it's in caps. There also is no "quote edited" on the bottom of the post to show that he corrected it.  Please have the person nearest to you read aloud these post. Then read it slowly again to you.

You've been making stuff up more recently. I hope you saw a doctor.

This is his #1 problem.  He argues about what others said, but then flip-flops, restates, and moves goal posts having to do with what he said.

Rather than ask if that's what the writer meant, he uses the technicality as some type of "gotcha' to score points.

Back-and-forths about who said or didn't say something seems to turn him on for some weird reason.

Did you call 8 years ago?  Because that's what Flapp said in his 1st post.  Again, you failed to understand or read that part.  So I ask again, have someone nearest to you read post to you and then repeat it very slowly so you can understand.  You also replied immediately to that post, so I'm going to post about that here before you move goal post to say you weren't talking about his 8 year ago statement.  You're reply to what YOU quoted by Flapp's 8 year thing was "IDK if they're lying. I'm not a mind reader, IDK if their info is correct". Which all has to do with what Flapp posted about the meeting 8 years ago.

The information was wrong now and it is wrong 8 years ago.

Is Flapp paying you well as an attack dog? Does he provide medical?

Maybe you need to work on your reading comprehension especially considering to can't even quote me accurately.

My BS? You are the one who can't admit their information is wrong. I even told you how to verify but you aren't interested so you clearly aren't concerned with having the right information, you just can't stand someone pointing out when you are wrong.

Eef needs a time machine to prove 8 years ago flapp is wrong, instead of admitting he once again didnt understand what 8 years ago means.

A simple "i read the post wrong again, my bad". But ill bet he will either look for a time machine or move goal post, which he is already doing. And recently, using Jeanism's.

Thanka for playing. No constitutional red flag laws yet? Nice ignoring this for a day or 2 now. Instead of saying "i was wrong, there are no constititional red flag laws as they all take ur guns away first, then due process after".

Flapp never proved anything to begin with.

You and him are implementing a double standard. He heard a cop at a meeting say a number and you are treating it like it is true. I am telling you I know someone who works there and says that number is wrong and suddenly you require "proof"  Common sense alone tells you 3 people isn't a believable number to cover Mililani to the north shore.

I'll say the same thing I said to Flapp to you, call the station and ask what the standard staffing is. I could do it and tell you but you are just going to find a way to deny it anyway so why bother. Maybe you don't want to do it because you will find out you guys believed a silly number and you would have to admit you were wrong.

Funny how my story matches up with public information...

Quote
Robert Cavaco, the new head of the State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers, slammed HPD for leaving large swaths of the island unprotected by restricting overtime and keeping dozens of patrol beats unmanned across the city.
https://www.civilbeat.org/2022/02/lack-of-hpd-patrols-jeopardizes-public-safety-police-union-claims/

The article shows maps of districts 1 and 5, mostly downtown and Pearl City vicinities, and the areas where there is little to no coverage during the 3 watches (shifts).

Don't believe me?  Believe SHOPO then.  This was 2022 -- much more recent.

Then there's this in Apr 2023, asking the City Council to build a police substation on the North Shore, because the Wahiawa station they work out of is just too far to effectively patrol and obtain resources and personnel when needed in a timely manner based on the sheer distance they have to travel.  And it also states there are only 4 patrol routes on the North Shore, not 12 as someone was "told."  That was established in 2011, and if someone doesn't report, then it could be just 2 or 3 patrolling -- as someone was told in a neighborhood watch meeting.  Just because there are X number of routes doesn't mean they have the manpower to man them all every single day.

This is my district:  District 2 - Mililani / Wahiawa / North Shore

If you go to the HPD website, you'll see a bunch of photos showing the officers there are also very involved maintaining a presence at many community activities.  It's a wonder they have time to do any actual police work!

It seems like there are three flavors of North Shore living: stuck up richies, just barely hanging ons, and third world lawless dystopia.
I've noticed this weird little area someone set up next to the Haleiwa bypass that looks like a no-budget children's theme park run by a deranged serial killer.
Things were always a bit wild up there, but now it's getting downright creepy.

Thanks for leaving out that 8 YEARS AGO was what he was talking about.

A simple "idk abt 8 years ago, but ill believe u. But today, its x, y,z."

Instead of the above, u once again failed to read and admit u are wrong or accept what he has to say abt 8YEARS AGO.

Thanks for playing. Ur Battleship has been sunk.

I never said 12 officers in the North Shore, I said 12 officers in District 2, which covers Mililani and Waipahu.

North Shore could have just 2 or 3 officers, especially if one went in with an arrest.

Like I said, just call the station, or find a beat officer where you live and tell him you are having an online debate about staffing. Ask him how many are on duty for his shift. Nothing I am going to say is going to be sufficient proof for you.

We covered this already, maybe your reading comprehension is not very good, or maybe you just missed it, i'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
It wasn't 3 officers in district 2 now and it wasn't 3 officers there 8 years ago either.

Flapp misunderstood the answer or the officer misunderstood the question.
