Last visit to RW was in May for Memorial day. We were there on the Sunday before at 2pm. Empty casino. I was the only one on the craps table, 3 card poker, and ultimate holdem. Slots, maybe had about 7 people playing in the entire place.
BJ table was 2-3 people on the open 2-3 tables they had. High limit area was empty.
So a dying casino.
The food court since covid has been half open, so if you go keep that in mind. The only places open all the time are the clay pot, taco's, pho, and musubi/sushi place. Which is fine cause the other places are average.
Mischos Tacos has 2 stands on RW. 1 inside the food hall and 1 outside. The inside one also has aqua fresca which I enjoy. Both their salsas are very good, green and red. Their elote corn in a cup sucks, so don't bother with that.
RW is a nice place to visit, but I'd never stay there as the gaming energy is low/dead.
The vegan place has a buffet taht looks pretty good. So does Genting Palace.
How I know RW is struggling, I got comp 3 nights. From the opening, they've been very stingy on comps compared to other properties. I didn't play too much this past May, but got a 3 day comp for the first time. At most, I would get like a 1 day comp, which we used once to try them out a few years ago.
IDK what their hold is on slots, but everyone we talk to says RW is super tight. And based on our XP over the years of going there. Whicih would make sense as they need to generate more revenue since they opened during covid and their target market isn't coming (chinese from China).
The stores open retail are dead. The only store we visit is the F1 store. Mrs. CMO bought a $40 purple hat.
