H5N1 Chickenmageddon
« on: November 17, 2024, 02:49:24 PM »
So now the same people at the DOH who told me I was going to die if I didn't inject their experimental mystery juice are now going after back yard chickens.

And of course a large percentage of the population who didn't learn their lesson last time are falling for it once again.

I'm literally surrounded by morons. So much for food security.  >:(

There was a show by the Supersize Me guy about the corrupt chicken industry.

Hormones or antibiotics aren't allowed in the US, so any label that says hormone/antibiotic free is all marketing.

Free range means the chicken has the opportunity to leave the coop. They do not have to go outside. And there is no definition on how big the outdoors has to be. So a 1ft x 1ft grass area outside is acceptable for a 400 chicken chicken coop as long as there is an opening for them to exit the coop.

There is a "union" in the US that bascially puts mom n pops out of business in the long run. THey set prices that mom n pops struggle to compete with.

Hormone and antibiotic free, but lead may be a concern.

Oh no
The little barred doves are supposed to be my SHTF food supply. Better stock up on canned tuna.

Costco makes a good canned chicken breast.

Thanks for sharing this.  The chicken breast meat looks moist and tender, something I always am concerned about with breast meat.

I'll buy some and try it out next time we visit Costco. :shaka:

The Waipio Costco usually has it, but seems to be hit or miss lately.  Just FYI.

BTW, the can has a lot of broth as well as meat.  My cats love the broth.  My dog ate his dry food much quicker with a little chicken and broth mixed in.

It works well in my chicken recipes where the meat is in small chunks.
