Do we get $200 gift cards for each one turned in?

I hope not, since I already destroyed the 20 I had and converted my AR15 to a single shot in anticipation of the bill passing and not wanting to be a felon.

Your rifle is grandfathered in.

I have a KelTec R50 and a Mini 30 I'll need to convert to fixed mags.

There's a strong argument the R50 already IS a fixed mag under this language... Will likely be the discussion du jour come next month.

I’ll have to look into that.  Anything to slow down the deadly rate of fire has to be a good thing, right?

The baby steps will continue.  10 rnd. mags next.  Then lever action.  Then 5 rnd. mags next.  Then bolt action.

Then pellet guns.  bb guns.  suction cup dart guns.  nerf guns.  guns that blow bubbles.  (my grandsons will be livid....)

Not sure about paint ball.  heard the politician asshats like to play with those.......

If things get bad enough they might try to do it all at once, and let out a bunch of violent criminals in order to make space for dissenters.

The legislation is copy-and-paste from billionaire mainlanders who want to turn us into England

I think Maksak had the right idea all along in not bothering to own any guns, ammo or magazines.

I was looking on YouTube and some guys are absolutely deadly and accurate using slingshots like David did against Goliath.

Living in Puna, lots of free rocks.  Imagine an 8 oz rock coming at you at 90 mph.

I agree.  But we need a level playing field.  Our rocks will still be no match for the criminals and LE with guns and their friends (the politicians) are making no effort to address that.

Is it time to say, like King Leonidas said in "300" :  COME AND TAKE THEM.

or would it be better to say "I own no firearms, ammo, or magazines"........  ;) ;) ;)

Something I noticed...

This affects use of semi auto rifles for eradication hunting on non-private land. Grandfathered guns could still be used on private lands but nothing allows professional hunters to use them on county/ state land.

Right, or am I misreading? Can government-owned land be considered "private"?

Isn't that a big deal?

Yup.  If this passes, then I'm going to rally the hunters to rail against the legislators who voted for this.  To  include Tarnas who caused this mess and whos district is on the big island.

You can also let them know that the same cast of characters also nuked the pay-to-play bill yet again.
They do it every session, like some sort of perverse performance art.
Soros money fills their coffers the same way the soak up contractor money, and they have no intention of stopping it.
It's all just a reality show for the rubes.

We didn't lose our gun rights. They were sold off to the highest bidder.

How many of you have written the U.S. attorney task force on unconstitutional 2a infringements by treasonous states yet? Remember, it won't matter if you turn them in. H.P.D. has been saying for 15 years at least, that "knowing how to use a gun", even if you are disarmed and naked, is justification for deadly force. Nowhere to hide, no ass to kiss will protect us, no way to lay low and obey because it isn't about law anymore. They want a disarmed caste to control.

Any new last-minute talking points on this bill that could sway senators?

1) Is it true that this bill provides no exemption for film productions?
2) Hinders eradication hunting on public land.
3) I think some hay could be made that the law would create a feeding frenzy of firearm purchases for the remainder of the year.

4) All the existing practical points. (Ridiculous ban on adjustable stocks; ambiguous definitions of "shroud", "flash suppressor", etc; magazine limits that don't take into account cartridge sizes; yadda yaddal)

5) All the well-trod philosophical points.

Are there any senators that are actually on the fence for the issue?
