I've been hearing about a 2nd gun rally at the state capital on Feb 8th 2013 at 10:00am. Has anyone else heard anything.

We have to keep up with this activist stuff if we're going to show them we are serious!

Feb 8th is a Friday so please plan acordingly and spread the word!

Might I suggest that everyone plan to visit their legislators' offices after the rally is over?  Just wondering if they might be out for lunch though.

I know some expressed they would help organize another local meeting(s) for us to hui together so let's work on that now. 

Also if you haven't already, please sign up on http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/ to get on email list etc. to keep abreast of the new proposals and get ready to submit testimony and/or appear!

Is there a flyer for this event?  I've been telling the LGS about it but a flyer would be great.  Some still have the flyer for the last event posted.

Under the legislature, parking is a dollar an hour if you can find one. Four hour limit.

Another cheap parking downtown under 2 hour is Ali'i Place.

I will support any peaceful rally/statement/action in support of the Bill of Rights

we can't afford to wait until march,  there are bills that are going through the state house as we speak,  one of the representatives said before a bill is introduce there is a informal poll taken.  He feels there will be some type of ban passed. 

feb 8th sounds good to me, in the meantime write and call your representatives. 

We should really focus on 2A day, which is 2/22.  Too much going on and that day will lose supporters.

this is the first I heard of this one.   is this national or local? 

Guys, we are running short of time to organize and publicize this. 

We either do 2/8, 2/22 or do both! 

For something this important, I can't think of any reason not to do both. 

Need numbers and my humble opinion is this needs to happen on a Saturday to have a chance.  Many can't attend a weekday event, parking will be tighter and the press will jump at the chance to  show the small numbers of 2A supporters in Hawaii.  To me a crowd of 500 on a Saturday has more impact than a group of 50 on a weekday.
