i think its good to have rallies. it shows the public that we are not a small group and can come together to organize. we are many different people. we look different and each love different types of firearms.
i also think its good to submit testimony online in support or opposition of a bill. when they pull out a fat stack( a few hundred thick) of opposition, its quite impressive. watching the aide lug that around.
However, nothing beats showing up in person to submit testimony if at all possible.
during the hearing yesterday, i wasnt sure if i was going to testify. was quite nervous actually.
after sitting through and listening to everyone else, i decided that i would. nearly everyone else represented an alphabet organization. i had to at least say something, as a firearms owner in hawaii.
me, flyboy, and someone else, dont remember his name, were the only independent ones.
after the hearing many thanked us and shaked our hands for giving testimony.
i think its good to show a presence during the hearings. were just normal law abiding firearm owners, and they need to see us, know that we have an interest at stake as well, and are individuals who will show up if necessary.
Im not trying to put down anyone else for their efforts, so i hope that it doesnt sound that way.

, There are many hats that we can wear, and i encourage you all, if you have never been to a hearing before to submit testimony, or have been to nervous, or cant get off work, you should make it down at least once in your life. its an awesome feeling.
