I got 5 on it Obama gets a third term...think about that before you automatically state that presidents can only serve 2 terms...

Yes

I believe his thirst for absolute power knows no boundaries.

I believe he would willingly take the lives of tens of thousands in order to seal his position of supreme ruler.

next time you lament that anti gun people think gun owners are crazy, realize that sometimes it has a basis in reality.

im getting deja vu of the month of listening to so many nutbags talk about how he was going to order confiscation through executive orders.

amazing how he actually didnt do any of that, and instead, used executive orders the way all the sane people said he would: to expand existing laws and/or clarify them.

what really gets me is how stupid liberals are when they say things you dont agree with, but as soon as some questionable "source" (and yes, that includes infowars very often) throws some sensationalist bullshit out there, especially one which is in itself hearsay from an anonymous source that of course is only speaking to people so low on the public meter that even if they were legit, wouldnt get anything done, the liberals are in on some kinda of hyper-clever, illuminati conspiracy theory so deep and convoluted that only a genius could possibly pull off, and still probably wouldnt in the day and age of modern media.

so he's both a retard, and a genius, depending on which stories are being discussed.  if you notice, a lot of you are just adjusting the narrative so that it fits what you want to believe.

and this is why people dont take us seriously.

This is why I support my statement with facts, there are people actively working to repeal the 22nd amendment.

No need for a third term. Just need to declare martial law due to a state of emergency... ala Marcos.
I think, therefore I am armed.

you know this guy has been bringing this up regularly since clinton got in, and its died before reaching the floor every single time right?

its not like this is just cause of obama.  he introduced this bill four times during Bush's term.

Wow. Yup, divide and conquer works really well. The libs said ~exactly~ the same thing with King Bush II.

Misguided liberals who genuinely want to create a Utopian workers' paradise murdered around 200 million people in the 20th century.  Randy Weaver's wife and son were murdered by cowards in ninja masks who steadfastly believed they were serving to uphold justice and peace.  Stop thinking that everything will be ok just because someone has good intentions.

Brother Serrano hasn't figured out how things in D.C work - not a single one of the bills he's introduced has cosponsors. Which relegates his legislative efforts to the category of showmanship so he can honestly tell his constituents he "tried." If you aren't bending over and taking it like a man in D.C. you aren't really trying.

I think the fear stems from watching Dubya walk all over the constitution with the patriot act and doubling our national debt from 5 to 10T buckaroos. Obama steps in and says, I can counter that with the NDAA, extension of the patriot act, an international kill list, 10T to 16T and a seemingly pro-islamic, socialist type agenda. A large portion of us are sitting here agape wondering how this guy was supposed to be better than that crony who just got term limited. Then when election time comes along, they roll out a Romney in Bush clothing.

The attitude of many isn't, well he can't do much more harm. It's, how much more harm is he gonna do? This is "no holds barred" time in his administration. He's showing his hand a bit by his new cabinet appointees. And I just get the feeling that people are worried about what he's going to pull out of the hat. How big and far reaching it's going to be, isn't what's worrying people. People seem to agree on the size and scope, and it ain't small, I can say that much. People are more worried of how much we stand to lose as individuals. Those who don't feel like being part of the "collective," as he so eloquently stated.

Which is why this "conspiracy" movement seems to have so much teeth. Nothing will surprise those who are of this thought. In fact, it's pretty much accepted and many are waiting for that black swan. Personally, I would be very surprised if, by the end of his 2nd term, he hasn't tried to pass something along the lines of removing term limits. The UK supports it as seen in their latest article in The Guardian. Many democrats already support it, and it seems most of his dedicated followers do as well. #Obama2016 was a huge Twitter trend right after Obama got re-elected.

All in all, though, I hope all this is, is tin foil hat talk. I would love for everyone to be wrong about this. That's not to say I won't somewhat prepare myself and just pass this talk off as ridiculous. There are always 2 sides to every coin. Knowing what each side looks like is very beneficial, imo. But with everything, a grain of salt. I've been victim to hoax stories only to be corrected by many. Won't stop me from looking into those I feel may have some sort of credibility. The last thing I want is to be truly blind sided by what I thought was fringe, only to be too late because I was of the crowd who thought, "Well, this can NEVER happen here.  They would NEVER do this." Nothing wrong with a bit of speculation every now and then, imho.

Yup. Wars are lost because of this kind of thinking. Basic strategy says to consider and be prepared for even the things you think won't happen. That isn't tin foil hat talk at all, just basic defensive strategy.

I don't think the government has any reason to turn on the American people. I really don't - doing something like that make absolutely zero sense by any kind of figuring. The continuing trends of Bush and Obama despite significant power shifts in D.C. is what concerns me. What force is it that is causes 2 administrations with different core ideologies to behave so similarly? And does THAT force have any reason to have the best interests of the American people at heart?

Who is it that is looking over Obama's back while availing themselves of his "services?"

while i understand the fear, i just think its very silly to take something from a source like this, who himself cites an unverifiable source, who has a shady background on something like human trafficking of all things, who's friends with a REAL communist, not just a wannabe like Obama.

i also dont think he wants a third term even if he could.  he's aged about 20 years in the last term.  he's consistently stonewalled in congress on a lot of things he likes but cant get, and if he ever did get a third term, you dont think there would be backlash at the congressional level?  even from democrats who've been posturing themselves over this gun control debate in the hopes of currying favor for a presidential nomination?
