Tanker shoulder holster. Tank operators used to wear these as secondary firearm and also i think some airmen. Multiple wear options with this.

Leather finish is not the best, easily blemished. Had to drill few more holes in the leather strap to acquire a tighter fit. Leather is thick and stiff but will last forever (that's what she said).

Will fit duty sized pistols, 1911s, and revolvers.

If you stay ready, you don't have to get ready.

Another Garand...

CMP service grade, pretty late production H&R, overhauled sometime in the early 60's.   Cleaned the stock a bit and re-Tung oiled as well, that's as far as I'm taking this one even with the darker wood.   I am thinking about swapping out the IHC trigger group it came with and using it on my other Garand (an IHC), that was kind of a nice surprise ;)  Looking forward to seeing how this one shoots!

Actually purchased at the CMP South Store in Anniston, AL.   Had it at a buddies place CONUS for awhile to shoot when I'm hanging state-side but decided to bring it home.   I'm looking at sending my IHC Garand to get professional restored so I'll need a Garand here to shoot while it's away, LOL  ;)

I keep saying I'm done but keep finding fun guns to buy  ;D

The question is which one did I just buy, left or right?  haha

Assault Rifle? What I have here is an Anti-Assault Rifle.
