Got some of the events on the site and am working on the monthly meetings. There are some concerns about the fact that, as Tom mentioned, they are held in a private residence. But, I will continue to work on that....

Military recruitment Czar...has nice ring to it....again, let me check into it....Thanks for offering.

How about some one getting a room at one of the clubs on a military base? 
 
Is that possible?
 
Could also have the 2A meeting there too.
 
Just a thought.  I vote for Kaneohe Marine Base(only because I'm 200 yards from the back door)

The problem with holding meetings on military installation is that, depending on the Commanding Officer or regional policy, it may be difficult for civilians who do not possess a valid military ID card to gain access. I know that for the Pearl Harbor side of things, it would be VERY difficult to do something like this; it seems that K-bay or Schofield may be a better choice. If we have members that are currently assigned to either of those bases, they could check up on it. If not, I'll start looking into it when I get back to the island next week.

Given that we're talking about HRA, stating explicitly what should be obvious to all, we do occasionally bring guns to these meetings.  So, if we have to move to a new location, anywhere we pick needs to be gun friendly.  But that's just running down the road to borrow a cup of trouble.  Let's see what the present situation is before we spend too much energy on alternatives.

I'd love to see KKSC get a new open air covered area that anyone can have meetings after hours.
Plenty of Free parking. 
 
Make More use of the facility.
 
Maybe we should start Harrasing the City Now so Parks can start a wish list for future budget.
 
Sort of like the open places at McCoy Pavillion.

The Varsity, or at least the one I'm going to, is in Puck's Alley, at the corner of University and King.  Maybe it was once in Salt Lake; today, it's in Kaimuki.  Hopefully that's less of a drive for you!

Well, it was a good meeting.  Myself, HiCarry, and Antithesis were in attendance.  Two pitchers of Pipeline Porter were consumed, along with a bacon cheesburger by yours truly.  I'm still under the influence of both as I type!   

For those of you who couldn't make it, no worries.  I plan on doing this again!  Plus, let us not forget the generous offer from Vooduchikn of a hosted potluck.
