Congressional action on guns
April 25, 2013
What should Congress do about gun control?
Leave federal gun laws as they are (95%, 30,179 Votes)
Expand background checks, ban assault weapons and limit the capacity of magazines (3%, 839 Votes)
Only expand background checks (2%, 748 Votes)
Total Voters: 31,766
The problem with this poll and most likely the others with similar numbers representing the opposite- those Obama et al cite- is how they sampled. Who voted in this poll? It's far from a random sample of the population for sure. I would certainly say "of those who voted, %95 were in favor of leaving gun laws the way they are"...but again- what are the demographics and views of those who voted?
I like it, even with these shortcomings. Sure is opposite to Obamaspeak.
