Model 13 by Mahalo808, on Flickr

My birth year gun. 1979 model 13. 357 mag. Not even a hint of cylinder line. Oddly still none after 200 plus rounds in one go.
Wearing a pair of american holly :shaka:
Beautiful! Look at that bluing! The grips are a nice contrast also.

Shot some 50+ year old .22 ammo out of a 40+ year old S&W -17.  This ammo was given to me years ago and it still shoots fine.

I dig these old 22lr revolvers. Who needs 10rds, when 6 looks that good :shaka: and no lock either

I don't think that remington ammo is 50 yrs old....maybe 35 or so. Wrong color scheme on the box.
Nice gun though.

I got it in the early 80's and it wasn't fresh then.  It's at least 40 years old in any case.

Snagged this one today--Ashland's special order in 1985, only 660 made.  I was working at SEC when one of the owners brought in a couple of these, one for himself and another one or two for his LE buddies.  This one's been carried and shot, but it still locks up tight.

I just may have to pull off my 3rd Gen Python targets and try them on my Python.  They're on a birth year Official Police--6" nickeled .38.

As much as I hate the looks of Pachmayrs I have to admit they feel and shoot the best for me.  I just can't bring myself to do it... :P

it looks nice
but the metal grips look a bit thin
the cutouts must make them lighter, though

Yeah, I'm thinking about bobbing the hammer, cutting away the trigger guard and putting a red dot on it

They are fun to shoot and pretty easy to clean as well. I had the conversion cylinder for mine that turned it into a 45 Colt cartridge gun.

Yes sir, I'm looking for a Colt in the same caliber but hard to come by. My three sons who served in the armed forces gave me this for Christmas 4 years ago. Very proud of them.
