Kapolei Cheesecake Factory doesn't want 2A business, No Guns signage on the front door, but that doesn't seem to be hurting their business model any.  Olive Garden on the other side of the parking lot doesn't have No Guns signage, so that's the 2A alternative.

If you are in their establishment unable to CCW and something happens (robbery, active shooting...) while you are there remember to keep your receipt (proof you were there at the time) and sue them because they denied you your rights. Make it costly to them for denying your rights and the rights of others to CCW on their premises.  They put you in danger especially if they don't have armed security.  JMO  ;)

I see this all the time, not just youtube but social media in general, and it is discouraging especially when it's supposed to be on your side.  It's like buyer beware.  Think things out and don't take anything on it's face.  For example, I used to watch the Armed Scholar but it's just devolved into clickbait now and everything is a SCOTUS 9-0 win.  Judging by the headlines, we should be able to buy machine guns from 7-11 by now.

I've realized for a while now that Armed Scholar's titles are clickbait so I usually give him a thumbs down because of it.  He's one of the reasons that I voted for Mark Smith of 4 Boxes Diner for Gundies.

There's no proof that's the result.  Most of his base is smart enough to know that he's just playing the media and the Left.

i count myself as part of his base, and my rule of thumb is to watch what he does, and take what he says with a grain of salt.

I heard they are planning on stealing the wheels off of police cars.

If so I'm sure the cops will work tirelessly to catch them.

Is that supposed to make the cops RETIRE? ;)

I set up a gedunk (Navy term for a snack bar) at a couple of my offices.  Prices were much less than the vending machines, and we bought the brands and flavors we preferred.

I fronted the money for a 6 cu ft mini fridge and the initial stock -- sodas, chips, other snack foods, frozen lunch entrees (burritos, ...), etc ....  went to Costco or Sam's Club once or twice a month for a full restock plus stops on my way home for things we ran out of between those trips.

After 3 months, we had enough to refund my initial costs to make it self-sustaining.  We were also making enough to pay for a monthly Friday afternoon office social -- beer, sodas, burgers, hotdogs, chips, charcoal, lighter fluid, buns, condiments, etc.  We had many "gedunk customers" from other offices frequenting the snack bar, so the profits rolled in pretty quickly.  The socials, however, were for our office personnel only.  Anyone else who wished to hang out paid $4 for their food and $1 per water, soda or adult beverage.  We always bought extra for the little picnics, so we didn't have to turn anyone away.  Leftovers were kept for next time if they didn't expire or spoil.  Burgers, dogs and buns were cooked up the next week for an office lunch.

What I'm getting at is, with just a little planning and several people helping out, the ideas i posted will be much easier since there's no refrigeration or cooking.

  :geekdanc:

Being that it's a City park selling drinks and food stuffs will run afoul with the Handicapped vendors that operate on city property. I would bet that the soda machine on the rifle side is operated by them.  I worked for the city and our Planners office sold soft drinks to raise money for their Christmas party fund.  After almost a year they had to stop selling because of the blind/handicapped vendors.

There is data.

Yes you can buy a deck but you need a permit to install it.   :stopjack:

i thought primers were a no go on planes...

TSA restrictions say loose primers (https://thekeeninsider.com/new-tsa-rules).  And according to a news article its allowed if packaged properly (https://www.enterprisenews.com/story/news/crime/2010/12/30/ammunition-primer-caps-aren-t/40207501007/)

Sorry last link may not work, i copied part of the article:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Orville Andrew Braham, the 37-year-old Stoughton man arrested Tuesday in Miami, was traveling with hundreds of ammunition primer caps in his checked baggage – cargo that isn’t prohibited on airplanes, but should have been packaged to prevent an explosion.

Authorities said Wednesday that they do not suspect Braham of an act of terrorism. He was charged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation with traveling in interstate commerce without a license to carry ammunition.

Braham, described as a naturalized United States citizen traveling to Jamaica from Logan International Airport in Boston, had checked two pieces of luggage with American Airlines, according to authorities.

One bag, a roll-on, exploded about 11:40 a.m. Tuesday when a baggage handler removed it from the airplane and placed it on the ground. The explosion caused shrapnel to be embedded in the baggage handler’s shoe and delayed four flights during an ensuing investigation, authorities said.

The Transportation Safety Administration said Wednesday that the ammunition primers are not prohibited in checked luggage but must be packaged correctly. Checking the packaging is the responsibility of the airline, the TSA said.

“You must securely pack any ammunition in fiber (such as cardboard), wood or metal boxes or other packaging that is specifically designed to carry small amounts of ammunition,” according to the TSA website. The FBI said both of Braham’s checked suitcases contained hundreds of ammunition primer caps. A cap is the back end of a bullet, the “spark plug” that provides ignition for the gunpowder.
