Same case here in Pearl city, Mental running around with syringe earrings.  Got into a confrontation with him for saying offensive comments to my friend (girl). Next morning I found syringes in my driveway. I don't mind but just for the fact that he lives a of block from an elementary school. Kids walk pass every day. Called cops, and they said they had numerous complaints about him, and cant do anything... Guess we gotta wait n see.....

Today I talked to the police and was pretty much told what surf said "crazy is not illegal".  You can walk around with syringes in your arm if you like.  As for syringes in front my house the response was " hopefully the parents educated their kids on not to pickup any needles".  All they can do is try to persuade him to get psychiatric help.  What a joke!!!   :wtf:

General Discussion / Doesn't make sense...
« on: September 21, 2013, 12:25:55 AM »
Today I called the police to report about a guy jogging up and down my street in front my house with a syringe in his mouth and taunting me. He is mentally unstable and the officer did confirm that, and there has been complaints against him wearing syringe earrings among other things, but they could do nothing since he did not break the law. He said that he just wants attention and they told everybody and me to ignore him. I thought it was costume jewelry he was wearing, so I brushed it off.  Later this evening, I found a real syringe behind my car.  I am not so much worried about my safety, but there is an elementary school right around the corner and kids walk past my house everyday. Who knows if that needle is infected with HIV!!  When my niece came home later, she told me she saw him shooting up.  The news tells you to report suspicious activity, but nothing gets DONE!!!  Guns aren't  the only way to kill people!!  I am going down to the police station tomorrow and see what can be done because hind sight is 20/20....

Reloading / Re: Bullet Availability
« on: July 18, 2013, 01:57:14 AM »
Checkout tjconevera for plated pistol bullets, free shipping usps.  I ordered last week and got it in 5 days. All other places are out of stock.  These are made from Xtreme bullets and look better from where I usually order from.  Measured and weighed them and all are pretty consistent, 200 gr. swc.   Loaded 50 and will try them out tomorrow.  ;D

General Discussion / What do u think of the new range hours?
« on: April 08, 2013, 12:55:42 AM »
I know its only the first week, but I think they should open 1 hour earlier on weekdays instead of later. More shooters there, probably on their lunch break.

Bought a case federal .45 from ogc and it was small primers...i was at the range when i found out and didrnt want to return it, not enough time. Being pake, reloaded them with target loads, shoots the same as large primer brass. From what i read on the internet, the companys moved to small primers for cost and more environmentaly safe, ie:less lead, smoke, etc...bs

never loaded rifle cartidges, but bought a lee turret press just because you could set it up with four stages and use it as single press without autoindexing. no need to switch dies and remeasure.

Can't shoot my gen4 g17 straight either.  I have an xd and it shoots good.  Noticed when i dry fire my glock, the slide moves vertically at the rear. Maybe i got a lemon,  goin to sell it  and get a sig 226.

I just bought  a SA range officer a couple months ago and it shoots great.  Accurate, tight fit, and no problems with semi wads or other types of  ammo. Only thing is trigger pull is a bit heavy for my liking, guessing 5-6 lbs, did some tweaking and some polishing and trigger feels great.  For $800 bucks, can't complain.

But do you have a net? lol. Seriously, its  just annoying and I wanted other shooters to be aware.  I didn't  say anything just because it isn't a rule.  But another shooter was mad and voiced his opinion rather loudly. Don't need road rage at the range.

Went to the pistol range the other day and was bombarded with a face full of brass!!  Some shooters have no courteousy or just plain naive.  It's frustrating to practice while being sprayed with brass after traveling from the westside in traffic!!! :grrr:
