General Discussion / Re: KHSC closed starting today 9-16-22

Had an interview with KITV 4 this morning and the reporter said someone from C&C told her they were planning to open the range next month, at least the shooting bay portion.  This was the first I've heard of anything.  Can anyone verify or did anyone hear the same?

This should be a requirement to graduate from your class. Not joking.

Nah.  Don't need to subject new and potential gun owners to you nuts ;-)

General Discussion / Re: Action Range question
« on: October 01, 2020, 11:26:50 AM »
Alright new firearm owner here.  Obviously with all that’s going on not too sure how long till this is gonna be possible but interested in getting into action pistol/rifle in the future.  How exactly do I get started in this? Do I have to join a club? Sign up for extra classes? Mahalo in advance and any tips/tricks appreciated.

Until the clubs that left their trailers at the range move their shit out, the rangemaster won't give anyone permits for the action bays ;-)

Where in the FUCK does it say “Separation of Church and State” in the constitution? Let me tell you, it does not say that at all. You sir are not telling the truth. And you are showing your ignorance of this subject if you really think that the constitution says that. You have some very weird misconceptions of reality.

Yup, the goal of Leftism is complete reliance on the State and so they have waged a hundred year war against the Judeo-Christian religious history and principles that this country was founded on.

What are your favorite ways to prepare fresh ahi, or other fish?

One positive thing about recent events is that many shops and other sources have offered fresh fish for sale direct to consumers and at great prices.  The pricing isn't as good as what was being offered back in the late March - early April timeframe, but still awesome prices.

I've been given some pretty nice chunks of very good grade ahi from friends who fish, but also have been buying from a few local vendors.  Typically get 2-3 chunks of ahi in the #3-#4 range.  Sashimi is always first up, but can only eat so much sashimi.

Poke for some of the sections of the slab as well.  What are some of your favorite poke recipies?

I've also been picking up some fresh ono, mahi, and some others.  Simple salt and pepper and pan fry is always a favorite.  Been doing some fish tempura as well and have tried various methods for different coating consistency.

I can eat a lot of fish.  Never thought I would say this, but at times I had gotten tired of fresh ahi and started looking for other ways to prepare.

I'm getting sick of your negative posts.....

The wheels of justice move slowly, and in our case, backwards.
