Consider the following two reports that show firearm registrations going through the roof and gun crimes and crime in general DECREASING, ALL WITHOUT CCW.  And as for 90 percent you refer to, how did only 4 people put in applications  for CCW in 2012 and 5 in 2013 if theres so much interest.  And there are so few shooting here, that I dont see 99 percent either. Clown.

The links I provided and that you subsequently included in your reply clearly show that the bible was OK with killing in self defense and that there was a clear difference between killing and murder. sure, with respect to this thread, I have lived in Hawaii all my life, I have used firearms for over 25 years here to hunt, and target practice.  I am a college graduate(including statistics lol), homeowner and a father.  I have been reading the bible for over 30 years.  I am not claiming that im am expert in guns or even the bible.  I do have an understanding of the bible which forms my beliefs, I have also analyzed the topic of killing at church.  As for firearms, its more of a hobby, when I have time, and extra cash.  On 2ahawaii, I just sharing my opinion and beliefs about firearms.  Im pretty straight forward, stand up for what I believe and call bullshit when I see it.  im also willing to learn, understand, and accept new things if they are agreeable to me.

Q can have every experience and qual but he is quick to judge, likes to name call, and is quick to discredit others when he doesnt agree with their personal beliefs if they dont align with his.

Do you NEED a fire extinguisher?  How many times have you been at home and the room caught fire?
Do you NEED an airbag in your car?  How many times have your cars been in collisions and the airbag deployed?
Do you NEED a police force?  How many times have you needed to call the police to protect you from an immediate threat?
Do you NEED life insurance?  After all, life insurance does YOU no good.  It only helps the beneficiaries of the policy.
Do you NEED a first aid kit at home, at work and in the car?  How many times have you used one to save a life?
Do you NEED to learn CPR?  How many heart attacks have you saved anyone from?
Do you NEED to learn how to swim?  How many times have you needed to jump into the water and save a drowning kid?
Do you NEED to finish high school?  Look at all the successful dropouts in the country.
Do you NEED to go to the dentist twice a year?  You can always buy dentures when the time comes.

Do you NEED to carry a gun?  The majority of the people will never have to use their concealed firearm.  Would you rather have it and never NEED it, or NEED it and not have one?
