I think that every politician is never 100% correct. Especially with the net and how people can now "fact check" now days. But what is greater is how the fake news rarely reports anything positive about what POTUS has done, just nit picking at all his failures or tweets that may not be 100% true. Even with the bills or XO's he signed, I do not agree with every single one. But again, he is doing more than the previous POTUS has done.
CNN reported that when he refers to "witch hunt" it offends witches. TDS at it's finest.
Oh absolutely I think very few if any ever come close to a perfect score for correctness. We should always look at politicians with a certain margin for understandable error/benefit of the doubt. I don't thing Trump gets enough of that at all.
Doing more in and of itself is not really a good measure. A president could do more but do lots of bad things and that wouldn't mean he is succeeding of course. His being very active shows that at least he isn't lazy. I am a bit skeptical of some of his executive orders, I think he may be moving in the wrong direction with regards to the environment (not just global warming but pollution and animal protection as well). I think he has done a number of things right with executive orders as well though. There really are no presidents who are just all bad or all good.
I wonder if a lack of coverage of positive items is as much Trump's fault as it is the medias. We all know that bad deeds get way more attention than good deeds so even when Trump succeeds his failures/stupid comments are just naturally going to get more attention. Not really fair but it is the way the world works.
Many of the things Trump has said and done worry me from an ethical aspect, not just an honesty aspect. I don't care if Trump claims he had the biggest crowd at the inauguration when you include the internet, it was kinda dumb but inconsequential and sure, the media looks silly when it makes it a huge story. But certain other comments/suggestions Trump has made should worry any constitutionalist at some level. When it comes to that I think criticism of him by the media is much more fair.
