Saturday, weather permitting, i'll test out some 308 reloads

My Rem 700 seems to like FGMM 168 gr.  I have also shot the 175 gr (or at least I think) but the 168 gr seemed to group tigher.

my 308 does well with the GMM 168 grain too.
mine is a Ruger American predator.  18" barrel, 1:10 twist rate
hoping to get better groups than with the GMM.  we'll see how it goes

I have a Rem 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD in .308.  It's a pretty heavy gun, but super fun to shoot.  I've been wanting to change out the stock and trigger for some time, but prioritized other stuff. 

I have shot the Ruger Precision in 6.5 cm and that's a sweet gun.  If I were to start reloading, the 6.5-6.8 range of calibers is something I would definitely look into.

Probably going to HFR first to check the POI/POA at 3, 5, and 10 yards.  Gonna cost me an arm and a leg...

Who's shooting this weekend?

After a break, I'm planning on zeroing irons and dot on the Colt that I had to replace the muzzle device on and also testing and zeroing for my AK project!  Haven't shot in a while and really looking forward to shooting the AK and seeing how this new gun shoots.  I wish I could get the Colt onto the action bay range, but that will have to wait till another training day. 

Will be on the bay side shooting the open shoot with HDF.

The Mrs. wants to practice on steel with her P10 and 9c.  Leaving the AR's at home.
