This is the Remington 180 grain ammo


The 200 grain , was not 240 grain, 1000 fps was pretty soft shooting. Not as soft as 44sp, but way less than those Remingtons

Hoping to get some practice with handguns this weekend. I've been getting lazy with shooting and need some solid training.

I shot my other friends legion hammer fired 9mm, I forget the model #. It felt like shooting a good 1911

I hear ya.  Takes some time/effort, but just gotta get back into the groove.  No matches for me rest of March, but looking at a few in April.  Hope you can make it out to one of those.   

Who is shooting this weekend? 

I'm gonna be shooting handgun, mostly with the RDS.  It's been close to 3 months since I've shot, so it will be interesting after the long layoff. 

Good to see folks getting back to enjoying shooting, albeit under restrictions that seem counter to common sense.

I’m excited to go this weekend.  Got 1 appointment for handgun then 2 hours later got another appointment for rifle on the same day.  Life is good!

I'm scheduled Friday and Sunday.  The ability to hit the target is definitely perishable, even with dry fire practice. 

I think a one hour break between the two activities is ideal, but 2 hours is certainly doable--you might get lucky and score a no-show spot.  It's a pain to pull up and reset everything but sometimes you just gotta make the best of it.

That sounds like a fun day planned.  Hope it goes well.  I also hope the ROs will be reasonable where if there are open spots, they'll let those who are actively shooting, to keep shooting. 

Imma try to get out and shoot Friday or Saturday. I'm broke till payday, but I have the ammo to spend a good hour at the range. Need to stay proficient these days.

Today I shot my 1911 RO Elite Target and tested some 44mag FTX/H110 reloads. 
Reloads were better than the federal 45acp ammo. Either that or I just shoot the revolver better, I think its the latter
Tomorrow bringing out the AR308

I've shot plenty in the rain, sleet, snow, etc.  This Sat is training, but I am looking forward to it being some leisurely shooting/training.

Yeah, those classes are always "leisurely".
I broke out in a sweat trying to keep my mags loaded last time.

Going to pistol range around 3 today for some moving target and a couple new drills.
LR rifle and carbine/pistol transitions L8r this week.
