I went pistol range last Sunday afternoon and I actually had to wait.
But I don't mind. It was good to see a crowd enjoying themselves.

Going Friday....got some 7.62x39 reloads to run thru my American Ranch rifle. Usually I’m at the end where the old futs shoot from!

Ahh, those old futs. . . 

I've shot with the black powder old futs many times.  All cool dudes.  Many often looking for "new blood" to have try their big bore hunting cartridges, like 460 Weatherby and 45-100something.  I'm like, I'm down!   

Some of those black powder guns they have are damn beautiful though!  And even more  is that many of those high $$$ value rifles that are their shooters are their "low end" ones. . .

Enjoy the time on the range!  Hopefully the skeet/trap ranges are open soon.

Yup I used to shoot BPCR with a 45-120 Quigley. Sharps. Friggin artillery piece! Also used to do Civil War reenactment. Was an 8th West Virginia Cavalryman which was part of Bufords Regiment who served at Gettysburg. My rifle was a 50cal Smith carbine antique with an 1859 manufacture date. Interesting, fast loading and quite accurate! Even did smoke poles for awhile but grew tired of the cleaning. They are a lot of fun though......
