My view of liberals have been that they tend to be emotional as opposed to rational or logical. Then when faced with a rational argument, their comeback is about as insightful as “ooh, look there’s a squirrel”. Remind you of anyone who posts here?

I think it's possible that AOC and Bernie and Liawatha and Kamala et al are ALL tools being used to set up the emergence of the "moderate"/"centrist" Democrat (Biden, Bloomberg, Schultz, etc.) who will finally get the nomination and have a more realistic chance of beating Trump than an outright socialist (note to the person who always asserts there are hard and fast definitions of (at least upper case) Socialist, Communist, Fascist, etc., I'm using those words (lower case) in their more general meanings as listed in dictionaries). I'm aware that that thinking may be delusional due to my unwillingness to recognize how far gone our country is and that the masses suffering TDS would actually elect Stalin or Mao if they were on the ballot in 2020.
