It's not rare if 1 person alone is admitting on camera that she got thousands.  There are multiple vids with multiple people.  She also drops them off at different post offices as to not raise suspicion. Also she admitted she could go to jail if anyone found out.  Watch the video, she stated all of this.

Also pics and video of mailmen trashing hundreds of ballots in trash bins.

And so far, no one was prosecuted yet for the recent Project Veritas videos.  The TX AG said it's being investigated as of yesterday.

Also look at cities that have more voters than registered voters since 2016.  So voter fraud does happen and is not rare.  I met a guy who works at a vegas gun store.  His mom died 5 years prior and used to live in CA.  She has never lived in CA.  Just for fun, he pulled up her info to see if she voted in NV.  And guess what, she was registered to vote and cast a vote in NV in 2016.

I don't tend to believe those types of videos like veritas, people say shit all the time that isn't true. If you believe every video or stupid thing someone said they probably half of America would be in jail. I look only at convictions  That being said.  I am not saying there's no voter fraud.  Just that's its the minority.  Hawaii has been doing mail in ballot for years and no major issues that I know of.  I only vote by mail.  Never been a poll once and never plan to.

Upon inception it was not that.  It was made so people could get mail and was never about profit then you are right congress fucked that up.  Should go back to its roots and be a service not for profit. Everyone deserves the ability to get mail and for me personally, internet.

Do you know who was the first US Post Master?

Benjamin Franklin.

Guess what?  Things change.

Do you know the word "profit" doesn't just mean money that is excess of operations.  Profit can also be used to expand coverage and increase services.  It can mean hiring more employees plus developing and implementing new processes, technologies and other things to increase speed and efficiency.

When I was young, the average time for delivery of a letter was 4-5 days.  If you were lucky, and the parties were in the same area, you might get something in 3 days.

Now, if you live on Oahu and send something to an Oahu address before too late at night, you can get next day delivery with just first class service.  From Hawaii to the East Coast usualy only takes 3 days.  These are things "profits" can provide.  Without the profits, every new innovation is at taxpayer, not postal customer. expense.

When FedEx and UPS hit the scene, they cut severely into USPS' monopoly for package delivery.  With the advent of email and websites that can deliver messages and documents electronically, regular mail began to see a massive reduction in demand.

THAT is when the gov't recognized the Post Office needed to be competitive as they were no longer a monopoly.  Given that fact, USPS was deemed a BUSINESS, not a taxpayer funded entity.  That forced them to improve, control costs and find niches the other companies don't serve.

Yeah we all know democrats fuck shit up all the time doesn't mean Republicans shouldn't fix it.... they held it up this time.  And eye is right bush fucked it up even more.

Democrats controlled the House, Senate and Presidency for 2 years in 2009-2010.  They've held the House more times than the GOP.  Obama had 8 years and REDUCED USPS funding and service locations.  But the Republicans have to fix it in 6 months?  What are you smoking?

This is only partially true. Some democrats want this.  Even i don't support that.  But in general Republicans and Trump are against.  They filed lawsuits limiting the number of fucking drop of boxes, look at Texas they wanted one box for like 3 million people.  Then they filed lawsuits so that ballots sent out before election day won't count if they don't get delivered by the 3rd... don't try and warp this as Republicans are neutral.

None of that matters.  We are talking about the 100% mail-in vote and whether it was at all feasible.  The reason Republicans opposed $3.5 Billion in Post Office spending under the guise of making them capable of handling a complete mail-in ballot system was because the process itself, with bloated and incorrect voter registration roles, meant it was a bad idea from the start.  Spending billions on the Post Office would not have fixed that.  Hence, why bail try to bail water out of a ship with holes in the hull?  It's a losing proposition, and you're wasting our money to bail out the Post Office after they lost billions over the last few years.

Democrats often point to the wrong problem instead of addressing the actual problem, just to confuse people and try to get what they wanted:  100% mail-in voting.

Fixing the Post Office was required to implement the plan, but fixing the Post Office was only ONE of the problems.  Without sufficient time to fix state voter roles, implementing the all mail-in system was not possible without introducing massive fraud.

It does happen and is rare.  Car accidents happen and people die but there is acceptable risk with all the safety features and rules, so people still drive.  Same with mail in voting.  All the people so far have been prosecuted.  Its a very bad thing to get convicted of and hopefully people will learn.

Rare?  The people being caught are just a sample.  They alone have changed or harvested thousands of ballots.  Have to assume there are many more not yet caught.

But the bigger issue is fraud within the system.  Post Office workers have committed fraud, theft and destruction of ballots.  New Jersey had so many of these problems, they were ordered by a judge to HOLD THE ELECTION AGAIN!

We are not prepared for doing that once, much less twice, for the general election.

Hawaii did not do mail-in voting based on voter roles.  They required you to request a ballot sent to a specific address.  They also cleanse the roles when people don't vote for awhile or notify them of a change of address to another district or state.

I moved districts and notified them of the change of address.  I received a new voter info card with a different polling place.  That place changed again when they closed one of the schools.  When I asked for absentee/mail-in ballots, I checked the box for that service every election.  I get ballots each time I need  to vote.

Totally workable system in our state for the number of legal voters who REQUEST ballots by mail.

This year, only mail-in ballots are being allowed.  We'll see how many are contested, thrown out, etc.

Why do you keep saying voter rolls?  That's not the norm that I know of you don't get to pick and choose the extremes to win the argument.  I think Hawaii's system is great and the whole nation should adopt it.  Cleanse the rolls and require people to sign up is perfectly reasonable things.

How do you suggest we vote?  If you think mail in is full of fraud and not an option?  FYI covid is happening at records rate right now.

We need to increase the number of polling places and only allow mail-in for people out of state on election day or with some other specified situation (shut-ins, physical issues, etc).  Anyone who doesn't  want to trust the mail can use drop boxes for ballots in key locations, including gov't buildings.

Make vote harvesting 100% illegal.  You can't trust ANYONE with access to someone else's ballot.  That's just common sense.

Only allow in-person votes to be cast on election day -- no more early voting.  Having a month of voting totally blows away the intent of elections -- to cast a vote at the same time as everyone else based on everything known about the candidates by that date.  There are laws in most states that require bars to be closed, ban liquor and beer sales, closing of gov't offices, etc.  Can't do that to facilitate early voting.  Only on one day:  Election Day.

These bombshells about Biden draw a big red circle around what's wrong with early voting.  Imagine how fast the Dems would be shutting down early voting if these revelations involved President Trump and Don Jr's laptop!!  Dems want to change every rule in the book because they lost in 2016.  This is their MO.  Can't win by the rules, change the rules.

Pack the court with 4 more (Liberal) judges  (All because Hillary lost and Trump is doing the appointing)
Eliminate the Electoral College (See rationale above)
Add two more Dem states: DC and Puerto Rico (Same rationale)
Increase mail-in voting, which increases risk of fraud and failure (Tests and actual elections prove mail-in voting is full of problems aside from any intentional fraud)

I'm almost to the point of believing the CA Governor, Gavin Newsom, is purposely making the state impossible to live in (High taxes, new idiotic laws) in order to force Dem voters into other states in a push to turn those states blue.

Anyway, that's my preference and rationale.  Take it for what it's worth.

Only you said "rolls".

I said "roles".

Nobody is picking and choosing extremes.  It's what the states would have to do in a General Election with 100% mail-in ballots.  How else do you imagine they address the ballots?  "Occupant" at every single known mailing address?

Every state is not broken up into a few congressional districts, nor with a small registered voter population.

Hawaii has about 523,000 registered voters, or 49.5% of its "eligible to vote" population.

California has the highest number of registered voters at 15,690,000.  Yet, that is still only 51.9% of the eligible population.

There are only 6 other states with a smaller number of registered voters than Hawaii, but they represent between 62.4% to 70.9% of the eligible population in those states, much higher %'s than Hawaii.

Hawaii only has half a million ballots to print, mail, receive and process -- including half a million names on the voter roles.

Number of states between 1.2M and 1.7M:  8

     "         "        "        "        2.2M and 2.6M:  6

     "         "        "        "        3.0M and 3.8M:  9

     "         "        "        "        4.1M and 4.8M:  3

     "         "        "        "        5.1M and 5.4M:  2

     "         "        "        "        6.0M and 6.4M:  3

     "         "        "        "        8.5M and 9.5M:  2

     "         "        "         with  11.6M:                1
     "         "        "         with  15.69M:              1

You can't take the model used for half a million voters and apply it to a nation with 152,666,000 total registered voters.  It might be a place to start the planning process, but it's not even close to a one-size-fits-all system.

Cleansing the roles IS a reasonable thing to expect, and most states have laws in place to do exactly that.  But the roles go on and on like a snowball until it accumulates so many bad registrations, it takes sometimes years to fix it.  Each state is responsible for their own voter roles, so you can't really hold Trump or the GOP to blame for this.

I think right after this election is done, they make backups of the registration info, then PURGE the roles completely.  Then, every eligible voter is required to register online or in person to be added back.

There are people voting in multiple states.  They used to live in New York and moved to Florida.  They are registered in both state and receive an absentee ballot for New York.  They also vote in person in FL.  These are documented cases, so you know there are many more as yet undiscovered and reported.

Purge and reenroll.  It's the only way to get rid of double registrations and ineligible voters.

We also need to stop people like Bloomberg from paying off the debts of felons just to get them to vote again.  That completely flies in the face of requiring people convicted of felonies to own up to their wrongdoings and taking responsibility themselves.  Bloomberg and others who pay these fines, costs and restitutions on behalf of the convicted felons are as bad as parents who use their checkbooks to bail out their kids when they intentionally break the law so the kid can play football at school or attend the prom.  Whatever the rationale, it defeats the purpose of requiring things like restitution.

OMIGOD:

In case you missed it the 50 times I said it, the ROLES are the mechanism states MUST USE to accomplish a 100% mail-in election.  That's why I keep saying it.

From an IT perspective:  garbage in, garbage out.

if you have 1M more registered voters than are eligible or live in the state, that's not only 1M extra ballots to print and mail (cost), it's also 1M more ballots the post office must handle.  And, if the 1M ballots end up in the hands of someone other than the addressee (old roommate, family member of deceased, tossed in a handy trashcan or cardboard box next to the rows of apartment or housing mailboxes, etc, etc), that's 1M more potentially fraudulent ballots.

PA courts just said mail-in ballots there that have signatures that do not match the one on file MUST BE COUNTED.  They can try to later contact the voter and see if that's their ballot and votes, but there's no manpower for doing that tens of thousands of times before the state makes the vote results official.

Mail-in balloting is just a bad idea.  These same Dems couldn't even run their own primary elections without massive glitches.  Do we even know if Iowa ever turned in their results yet?  After 3 weeks, I stopped tracking it.
