Don't sell off too much of the good stuff.  Expensive to replace them here.  Wish I had not sold as much as I did when I moved, will never be able to afford to buy the same again.  Kept my 1911 and 870 of course.

For sure, the only 2 rifles I am selling are  WASRs. I want to replace them with something that has a folding stock like an underfolder or SLR106-41.

I found this site researching for a place for my brother to locally connect to for shooting education. I think this is a good place for him to start, if he so chooses. He lives on the Big Island. All of my other relatives still live in Hawaii except for a nephew.

I have memberships in other gun forums and wanted to introduce myself. We last visited Hawaii in 2008 and wanted to go shooting but couldn't make it fit into our schedule, maybe we can on our next visit.

Welcome, blaze!  Even if you decide not to sell your guns to KK, there's still a mandatory KK inspection which must include at least two boxes of ammo for safety and function testing.

Aloha everybody here on 2aHawaii.  I just want to introduce myself to the 2aHawaii community.  I'm sort of a newbie to firearms and have been lurking this forum for awhile and decided to register so I may ask questions if I have any and to also join in on the fun.  Maybe I can chime in as well if someone has questions that I may have an answer.  I previously owned a Springfield Armory XDm 9 (4.5") which I sold it to get the XDm 45 (4.5").  I am now wanting to get a target practice/hunting rifle.  Mahalo and Aloha

     I am a CCW holder in CA, moving back to Kona 10/14. Can't wait to get back to the aina where I don't feel the need to carry.  Plus I just built a pretty nice AR in 308(still needs decent glass<hint hint>) see if I can't get some meat to smoke. Gotta get all my Hawaii 2A laws down and find out who has the progressive rcbs with same dies because I hear ammo is ridiculous there. 223 has jumped over $100 per case in Cali. South Korea got the contract w/ PMC, and bulk just skyrocketed. Anyways, aloha, chat up plenty soon.
