I wonder if they can determine how much of that rise is change in people's behaviors and change in test rates.
So for example if people get vaccinated and then stop making, stop washing their hands as much, and start gathering indoors again?

There is just so much data coming out about covid it is hard to digest what it all means and it is so easy to present data in a way that could mislead people to false understandings.
On the change in behavior, I think I get what you're saying.  Sort of along the lines of attributing drops in "regular flu" cases during COVID.  Was it behavior, testing (quantity, frequency, reporting), or "other factors"?  My non-medical and "not much time to dig deeper" opinion is that many automatically link causation and correlation, especially when those "facts" are conveyed via MSM.

A significant program that I have been involved in the past 2-3 years involved simulation and modeling with the goal of improving efficiency in industrial systems.  Think optimization of say a car plant.  Which functions go together or in series, and which functions can remain specialized and separately located.  There are MANY human variables in those simulations and understanding of human behavior isn't as intuitive as many might think.  See article below for some discussion on that.

Absolutely. I think people often fail to question a conclusion they find favorable, they don't stop and think "what other factors might be at play?" It is understandable though, we aren't exactly scientific by nature. Some things are easy to measure, like for example when a mask mandate was implemented or ended. What is much harder to measure, and more indicative of causality would rates.

On your note about human behavior I have many times observed human behaviors which are really counterintuitive and in some ways detrimental, though they sometimes serve some other specific function. I can only imagine how human traits could hamper an increase in industrial efficiency. Sometimes people resist an idea simply because it asks them to change, not on any grounds whether it actually leads to improvement.

I doubt that Singaporeans will suddenly change their c19 safety habits (stop hand washing or social distancing) that drastically.
But one thing that can be inferred from the data is that the public policy premise to “vaccinate everyone to stop c19” doesn’t hold true.  The same can be said from looking at Israel’s data.
If our public policy of stopping covid is based on this same premise (vaccinate everyone), then it is a failure of our policy makers to look at the data and actually keep the public safe.
Instead, why not look at alternative public policy strategies that has worked for dealing with C19, such making alternative early treatments available like they did Ivermectin in India?
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/10/dr-campbell-reveals-reason-behind-indias-ivermectin-blackout/

I think we must remember to not judge prior goals and predictions too harshly. I think that many goals for vaccine mandates were based on what was known at the time about covid and the vaccine. With more time and information and with Delta prior goals might not make sense, they might not fit the data but that doesn't mean we were lied to. I think that before we had delta and the vaccine appeared to be 95% effective that a certain vaccination rate target made then would no longer be a realistic goal today. I have no idea what an actual realistic target should be

I think what is important is utter honesty in messaging from the government. As flapp suggested before have the government admit what they don't know and admit that they don't know how well something is going to work but it is a best estimate to try and keep people safe given what is known at the time.

Law does give them that power (with some restrictions of course) but it is also supposed to be for a limited time, not a year and a half and counting!

Newest PV vid that Pfizer is avoiding the use of the term fetus cells used in their vaxxx. This really is not anything new, but like this entire covid situation, the public isn't made aware (full disclosure) of anything.  Just do as the government says and don't question.

Fetal cells have been used for decades in many products/vaxxes.

Is it fetal or mononuclear cells ?
My understanding is it’s mononuclear cells that can be obtained from a number of sources, including umbilical cord and bone marrow and reproduced in labs.

Plenty people want the monoclonal antibody treatment for Covid.

Not a real doctor should know more about this.

Here’s the guy’s page from NYU where he’s faculty. PhD.
Guess he’s vaccinated. Or quit.
Note the banner across the top of the page where they can schedule your vaxx.

And, again wasn’t it Trump who was trumpeting about getting the vaxx out super fast. Unbelievably fast. Fastest ever.

“ Operation Warp Speed, a Trump administration initiative to manufacture COVID-19 vaccines as fast as possible, should be lauded as a successful endeavour in what has otherwise been a poor effort to deal with the coronavirus, experts say.

"No doubt, Operation Warp Speed is a huge success," said Tinglong Dai, associate professor of Operations Management and Business Analytics at Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School in Baltimore.

"You can like or hate the Trump administration, but no doubt, it's a huge success — unprecedented success."

A anti vaxer told me about this and it sounded so strange I didn't believe her at first but I looked into it and found out it was true. However when I looked into it further it wasn't as bad as initially presented. They initially harvested cells from aborted fetuses, back in the 1980s IIRC, to produce the vaccines however they kept regrowing these same cells over and over again for use. So it isn't the case that vaccines require a constant supply of aborted fetuses. In my reading I never saw whether the aborted fetuses that were harvested were from abortions that were necessary to save a mother's life.

Personally I am not sure what to make of this. I don't want people to have abortions just so we can have cells to make vaccines but if people are aborting the babies might as well use the corpses for something good.

Sickout or legitimately sick?

That brings up an interesting idea. When it comes to the day where employees are to be fired for not being vaccinated we may see them all call in sick, at least until their sick leave is used up.

U pretty much explained most of it. Generations of cells since the 80s.

But do they still use new ones now? Planned Parenthood has been caught on camera admitting the sale of aborted fetus parts. They also receive millions in fed funding (our tax dollars) and donate millions to DNC politicians.

Sorry, derailed. Gerbil wheel got moving.

It would be nice to get an ingredients list of what’s in the vaccines but apparently that is trade secret information and profits are more important than public health
