I get it.  Completely. . . that said, with you having the 507 and she the 407, ANY perceived deficiency, you're going to be having a 407 moving forward.

Don't jinx it man.  Right now I'm borrowing my neighbors torx set. I may have to invest in buying my own.  I used his punch set when installing her trigger on the M&P 9C. Had trigger issues so I ended up buying my own as well and have used it a few times since.  Like on the 1911 lining up the ring that moves on the barrel with the hole on the frame so I can push the take down lever thru. I mean I could use a hibachi stick, but I paid for the punch set, so might as well use it.

Torx bits?  You should get a set of torx and hex/allen bits (both SAE and metric).  Not that expensive.  I have multiple sets (home, range bag, etc).  You can put together sets for not that much $$$, and you'll get lots of use.

You convinced me to get my own. I got this one. Pretty sure I will need it more since we diving into the RDS rabbit hole.

Shoot, should have told me.  I could've given you a set of sae and metric hex bits.

RDS isn't a rabbit hole.  Now bolt action .22 lr on the other hand. . .  ;D

At least when it comes to 22 BA, for me guud enuff is fine.  But same with zeroing the AR. With zero power RDS, 50 yards small tangerine is guud enuff.  And as you've seen in skill builders, it is.

Maybe 1 day I'll also look into LPVO for a 2nd AR.

Upgrading from a "jabong"?

While I have an AR with a LPVO, ask me how often I shoot it. . . It is/was fun to see what the platform can do with optics and how it (can) help in the 100-600 yard window.  How often do I need that?  Dunno, but having a nice LPVO sure is fun.  You should get one.

"It is so choice.  If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up."  ;D

Wow. That sucks. Let me know what they say.

I just picked up an X
Didn’t even get to put rounds down range yet. Hope that won’t be a common issue.

From loading and unloading rounds?

That sucks for a new gun. Try taking the mag apart and wiping down the spring and follower. Something similar was happening with some Magpul Glock 19 mags. Follower would get stuck about half way up and rounds were loose after about 2-5 shots. Took mags apart and springs were gummed up. Wiped spring and followed down and haven’t happened since. Those mags had hundreds of rounds thru and in all sorts of weather. Compared to new mags, the springs that were getting caught up were noticeably rough and gummed up with a thin film.

Nice. Perfect fit/match with the EPS.

My 43x is getting laser stippled. Hope to have it back in a little over a week.

Yeah. When I picked the gun up new, sig has some kind of gummy preservative on it. Cleaned it up thoroughly. Everything was much smoother.

Thank you. Really liking the Wilson grip module. Palm swells make the pistol more comfortable and point able for me.  Hope this translates well to live fire.

When the range opens up again…….

In my Magpul Glock mags?  If they were, they came like that from the factory. . .

For CMO?  No idea. . .

Spring in backwards ?

This was the first thing I checked.  IDK which side is forward, but when I switched it, it had the same issue.  Also everything is clean, no gunk.

I called SIG and they are currently out of 10rd XL/X mags. These are mainly marketed to anti 2a states and they didn't make enough to keep up with the demand.  So they will email me once they're available so I can fill out the form and they replace them.

Need this to be running b4 Thanksgiving as we are going to Vegas and Mrs.CMO want's to carry this.  Worst case, we can always buy  standard cap mags up there. The first 4-5 rounds feed fine.  That's better than nothing.

David and DCT has some blocked XL mags, I'll try hit him up.  We needed more anyways.

For mags, check Ben Stoeger.   There are a couple more shops, but can't think of the names at the moment.
