I'm starting to really wonder ...

if Biden lied about seeing "confirmed photos" of decapitated babies,
and his staff knows he never saw those photos -- given the fact they issued a "correction" right after his remarks were aired --
I have to ask ...

Who the hell is writing Biden's speeches, and
who the hell is reviewing and approving those speeches?

Are they all idiots, or are they trying to sandbag their fearless leader for 2024?

Maybe they've gotten so casual about lying, they don't give a crap about making stuff up for no real reason other than it sounds good or because it's trending on Social Media?

You know at least 3 people had to proofread the remarks before a digital copy was sent to the teleprompter technicians for the official delivery.

How do these kinds of things keep slipping past Biden's gatekeepers?

 :wtf:
The left is protected by the fake news and DOJ. They can lie all they want without question. If it were trump doing the exact same, his mental health would be questioned and he would be called a liar.

Biden could pull his pants down and shit at the podium and no problem.

Israel claims their IDF killed the leader of the Oct. 7th attacks and said all Hamas terrorists will meet the same fate.

There needs to be hard diplomatic talk with Egypt, Quatar, Syria, Iran, and other Arab countries who would be willing to house and shelter terror groups like Hamas.  Israel is dead set in destroying Hamas on the Gaza Strip.

However, if these countries (like Quatar) continue to house and shelter elements of Hamas, Hamas will just be like roaches, ants, rats, and weeds.

They will come back.

Yet it really is the tip of the iceberg to erradicate Hamas from Gaza.  There is ISIS, Hezbollah, and who knows who else out there with hate for Israel and the US.

So if Hamas is erradicated from Gaza, what will Israel do?  Allow Palestinians back into Gaza?

Garan Ball Barans the problems comes back.

If Palestine wants Gaza so bad, Israel should just turn it into a Muslim cemetery.

No houses, schools, or baby milk factories.

Nobody there but dead Muslims.

If Israelis can't live there, nobody lives there.

And if terrorists insist on not leaving, they can be the cemetery's first customers.

At least Hamas can brag they "took" Gaza from Israel.

I was reading 1 article that said when israel occupied gaza, there were factories and the place was lively. Then when given to the Palastinians, its a shithole. They make no use od the area.

IDK how true this is.

I saw photos and video of the Jews vacating Gaza as the deadline to leave drew near.  They were taking everything they could with them, leaving as little behind as possible.

They took light fixtures, pulled electric wires from the walls, all appliances of course, ... pretty much anything that wasn't part of the house framing was unscrewed, unbolted, un-nailed and ripped out.

These were after all the homes they'd built and lived in for decades.  To have to get out and just give their homes to Arabs because Israel was forced to didn't mean they had to leave all the things they bought and built.

Now Israel is doing the same thing to Gaza -- telling the residents to leave ahead of an all-out military invasion.

The difference is, the residents are crying they have nowhere safe to flee.

Really?  Israel was able to absorb the residents who fled before -- all those who had no other place to go.

Now ARABS are saying in a region of mostly ARABS they have no possible place to vacate to?

This reminds me of Syria, where the refugees were being denied entry in Arab countries.  These Arabs really like to control their borders, huh?  Yet they are quick to condemn Israel for building fences to secure their borders.

If they have nowhere to go, it's not Israel's problem.  Hamas is a large, widespread group.  They have to have sway with local nations to accommodate a couple million people.

Guess BLMs/antifas organization skills are better than Hamas, despite their "surprise" attack being successful.

How quickly blm and antifa can assemble to create chaos. Compared to hamas call for violence that had minimal results.

I watched these 2 videos.

One was about the Israeli Ambassador to the US talking about the crisis and one of the things he mentioned is Israel trying to establish "safe zones" where the citizens of Gaza can evacuate to and receive food, water, medicine, and shelter.

But it still is within Gaza and well within the upcoming ground assault.

The other video talked about how difficult the ground invasion will be.  A reporter who was in Gaza during the 2014 conflict between Israel and Hamas said the process is slow and grueling.  Israel commandeered a neighborhood district and it took over a month to eliminate Hamas from the area.

All that and Hamas came back.

He said trying to save hostages while eliminating Hamas fighters is one thing but the effort to eliminate Hamas once and for all in Gaza is a whole new ballgame.

But to me, it was the wailing of this poor old Palestinian woman that really got to the heart of the whole problem.  She was crying because she was trying to evacuate but the road they told her that is safe to use is littered with debris and blocked by burning vehicles and rocket fire.  She shouted "We have nowhere to go, SHAME ON YOU, ALL YOU ARAB COUNTRIES".

I think she has a point there.  That and the shameless, gutless, Palestinian Authority.

3 Hospitals in the area of potential conflict were instructed to evacuate by the IDF.  They refused because they cannot move the patients.  Meanwhile, thousands upon thousands of people have converged upon the Hospital premises, men sleeping outside in the parking lots, women and children in the buildings.  They have no means or nowhere to go. The feeling amongst all of them is hopelessness.  They are resigned to the possibility of being killed in the crossfire once the IDF army starts rolling in.

Their last flickering hope is safety in numbers.

Hamas is truly evil.

Sounds like  Palestine shouldnt have allowed hamas to get this powerful.

If hamas cared for their people, they would surrender and not have proked the bear.

Palestine as a people wasn't recognized in any other country until 1964. The Palestinians would not be in Gaza today if not for the constant terror attacks THEY committed against Israel under the leadership of Yasser Arafat and others.

Most of the rest of the world recognized the PLO as the legitimate representatives of the Palestinian people from the mid-1970s onwards (after the PLO's admission to the UN as an observer.)  In 1993, PLO chairman Yasser Arafat recognized the State of Israel in an official letter to its prime minister, Yitzhak Rabin. In response to Arafat's letter, Israel decided to revise its stance toward the PLO and to recognize the organization as the representative of the Palestinian people.[58][59] This led to the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993.

So, to expect Palestinians to view Hamas as anything other than freedom fighters is ignoring where they came from in less than half a century.

Plus, how does a peaceful populace stop a terroriist group?  The people want to live, and going up against Hamas is not the best path for that.

The problem is easy to solve.
Just look to history.
I think and hope Israel is doing the same.

Fox News is TV for stupid people.

If you want a more strategic big-picture perspective instead of pavlovian emotional manipulation then here's a great interview with the senior investigative reporter of the Epoch Times, which is an actual serious news organization. His hypothesis is that China is trying to suck us into a bloodbath that will unleash waves of jihadis across our southern border. Then they can waltz into Taiwan and we'll be too spread out to do a damn thing about it.

The Internet is just saturated with these types of news.  Right now it reminds me of the first few weeks of the Ukraine/Russian war.

Nothing burgers of speculation, hand wringing, fear mongering, and misinformation.  All clickbait crap.

But all these retired generals, colonels, special forces, and navy seals at least have pretty good side gigs.

You hear and see very little of the Ukraine conflict.  Volodymir must be very sad and jealous.

From: The Sword of Damocles
An economic worst-case scenario of the Israeli-Palestine war

https://mtmalinen.substack.com/p/the-sword-of-damocles

“On Tuesday, I published a post on X (Twitter), which summarized an economic worst-case scenario for the Israeli-Palestine war. It included 10 points:

The conflict escalates into a regional war with the U.S. becoming directly involved.

OPEC responds with an oil embargo.

Iran closes the strait of Hormuz.

The price of oil reaches $300/barrel.

Europe succumbs into a full-blown energy crisis due to LNG shortage.

Massive spike in energy prices reinvigorates inflation with central banks responding accordingly.

Financial markets and the global banking sector collapse.

Debt crisis engulfs the U.S. forcing the Federal Reserve to enact yet another financial market bailout.

Petrodollar trade collapses.

Hyperinflation emerges.”

With all this hate for HAMAS, it's time for a quick history lesson on who was responsible for the creation and institutionalization of HAMAS.

Aren't these kinds of shenanigans like how the US empire sucked Russia into fighting Ukraine and how it is also similarly provoking China to invade the Republic of China by selling weapons to them as well?

China has no intention of invading the Republic of China unless the US empire creates the circumstances for it to do so like it did with the current US imperial proxy war against Russia via Ukraine.

If you think hate for Hamas is unwarranted based on who they once were, then you need to rethink your values.

Let's say you bred a Pit Bull puppy and trained him to be a guard dog -- all with the intention of having him protect your home and family.

One day the dog turns on your 8 year old son and puts him in the hospital.

Are you going to excuse that attack all because the dog would not have been in your home were it not for your actions?  Would you take the blame for the attack and your son's injuries?

Or, are you going to blame the attack on the dog -- the actual attacker -- and take appropriate measures to stop the risk of future attacks?

Hamas is evil no matter how or when they began.  Hamas is biting the hand that once fed them, but that doesn't lay the blame at Israel's feet.

I don't think I made any comments for or against the hate of HAMAS in my last post.  My last post is to provide context on who helped created HAMAS and indirectly illustrate the adage, "you reap what you sow."

HAMAS' recent actions on non-combatant Israelis are non-acceptable on any level.  Israel's illegal occupation of Palestinian lands and belligerent actions towards Palestinian civilians over the decades are equally non-acceptable.

The Oslo Accords agreed by both Israel and the Palestinians need to be followed through in order to have a chance of peaceful coexistence in those lands.
