I think it is becoming more and more apparent that SECRET SERVICE means something entirely different now.

If you look closely you will see why she had a hard time holstering her gun.  She needs to do more than 10 abdominal crunches every other day in my opinion......
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

They are wearing body armor in addition to their suits and ties so it will slow them down a bit. John Wick was a fictional character.

She's got a lot of "body armor" on those thighs. Don't see the secret service guys looking like that too often.

I see a fold of flesh blocking the opening of her holster.

I hope she's 1 of the Treasury agents and not a real SS agent.  I've never seen a fat SS female agent.

Lots of good sourcing and commentary.  Worth listening to, if you can't watch almost 2-1/2 hours.

This is interesting, and it's very telling.

MSNBC pulled their Morning Joe segment off the air Monday morning in the wake of the Trump assassination attempt.

The formal reason given to a CNN reporter is the network was afraid a guest on the show might make an offensive comment (use your imagination), which could leave the show and the network open to "attack."

Apparently they did similar after the Hamas attack on Israel.  They pulled 3 Muslim broadcasters from the air after complaints came in criticizing the tone of MSNBC's coverage.

In other words, they couldn't risk two hosts with massive TDS being on the air celebrating and excusing the assassination attempt on their arch villain.

Noticed that Joe didn’t order flags at half staff to honor the man killed in the attempted assassination.  He musta forgot.

Initial reports from the fake news headlines were "Trump falls off stage" type of reports. And yet, people still trust the fake news.  1 international news station called them out on their BS.

The head of the SS, last job was at Pepsi. IDK what she did there, but I would think the head of the SS was at some point in the SS and worked their way thru the ranks.  Or has some kind of asset protection XP with decades of XP.  I mean, maybe she did asset protection for the president of Pepsi. I never looked into it.

She also claims that no one was on the roof because the roof is too sloped and it's unsafe.  I've seen SS on scissors lifts so they can get the elevated positioning that they need.  She also blames local PD as they were responsible for that area.  This is a BS excuse, the SS does use local PD all the time for help, but they also know that they cannot be relied on like how their SS agents can be.  The SS there are trained in asset protection, which local PD isn't.  The SS also has no idea of the type of training local PD has, especially in smaller towns.  So to leave 100% it up to local PD is another failure.  Again, layers of protection were ignored.

At the convention yesterday, Trumps new detail were all male and about his height.

I hope someone investigates the request for more security that was denied and any comms between the head of SS or decision maker about the issue.

Biden is now saying we all need to tone down the rhetoric.

Who could have predicted there would be an attempt on Trump's life?

I would like to see Biden walk back his comment on putting a bullseye on Trump.
He would probably not have anything to say about it and his handlers would not
want to risk another gaff episode.

He would probably not have anything to say about it and his handlers would not
want to risk another gaff episode.

He doubled down on what he said.  He claimed he's not engaged in that rhetoric, but Trump is.

Quote
“It was a mistake to use the wor — I didn’t say crosshairs, I meant bullseye,
I meant focus on him, focus on what he’s doing, focus on his policies, focus
on the number of lies he told in the debate” Biden said.

“Look, I’m not the guy that said ‘I want to be a dictator on day one, I’m not the
guy that refused to accept the outcome of the election, I’m not the guy who
said that he wouldn’t accept the outcome of this election automatically.”

Holt pressed Biden, “Have you taken a step back and done a little soul-searching
on things that you may have said that could incite people who are not balanced?”

“How do you talk about the threat to democracy, which is real, when a president
says things like he says, do you just not say anything because it may incite
somebody?” Biden shot back.

“Look, I have not engaged in that rhetoric. Now my opponent has engaged in that
rhetoric, he talks about there will be a bloodbath if he loses, talking about how he’s
going to… I guess suspend the sentences of all those who were arrested and
sentenced to go to jail because of what happened in the Capitol.”

The man who can't put a sentence together that expresses a coherent thought is lecturing on the nuance between "target" and "crosshairs" -- and crosshairs was never brought up in the question.  His argument is that Trump said stuff, too.

Crosshairs .... target .... a distinction without a difference.
