Now is a good time to figure out which side you are on if you don't want to end up in an internment camp.

Why?  All the cool kids will be in the camp, too!

Here's what the FBI and Secret Service say they know so far.

What I have seen reported through more than one source is that the Secret Service saw the shooter piggyback among their vehicles to get into the secured area.  One vehicle communicated with others pointing out that a strange person entered with them, yet nobody did a damned thing about it -- not even a simple call to local LE to check the person out.

That's apparently been verified through the slow but critical report of all communications made that day between security personnel.  Yet, it didn't make it into the "timeline" briefed to Congress.

The people who publicly express disappointment that the assassination of Trump was not successful are actually admitting their true desire to murder anyone who disagrees with them.
Stop blaming lazy people. We didn’t do anything.

Now the Secret Service admits they did not have an agent in the LE command post before the shooting.  How long before is still a question.

Cheatle testified to Congress the standard method of interagency communication was to let each agency retain their own radio comms while the liaisons in the command post would share those alerts so they can be relayed to all agencies.

Apparently there was one agent in the command post who left for some reason.  There were supposedly 2 other Secret Service agents assigned there, but couldn't get in due to key card problems??  What??  I guess knocking on the door was not an option.

"My card isn't working."

"My card doesn't work, either."

"Oh, well.  I saw a stand selling coffee and donuts."

"Great!  Maybe we'll get freebies showing our badges."

 :wtf:

Every new detail that comes out just causes more and more questions.

Rifle used in the attempt.  It has a red dot optic and a milspec trigger.  It would've been challenging to get a headshot and rapid followup shots at 150 yards with that setup , unsupported, and under pressure.  Explains why the shooter missed.

Assuming he was aiming for Trumps head, if Trump hadn't moved, he would have been on the money.  Impressive from a zero power at 150yrds, under stress, minimal support (no bag rest).

Actually, an AR-15 at 150 yards with BUIS would be the same -- no magnification.  If you have good eyesight, it's a makable distance.

150 yards at target size of your infamous "jabong". . . can do. . . at least I thought that's what you said. . .

I wouldn't say impressive.  Definitely not unrealistic for someone who has some experience.  If "just got the rifle", maybe. . .

If his POA was Trumps nose, which it may have been until the head turn.  This is what I mean by impressive. POA/POI.  If he was aiming for the Indian dot, then he would be 1.5 inches low as the top of where the ear attaches is about that far.  IDK if he had time to adjust his RDS brightness either or had it set as "guud enough".  But even then, the sun can change the brightness needed so there's less starburst.

Had he had a magnified optic, then it wouldn't be as impressive, but normal.

There's really no way of knowing though. He could have been aiming center mass instead.  Or like Mac said, lucky.
