I had a defective rifle from Ruger. I sent it to Ruger and it was destroyed and Ruger provided a letter of destruction.  When i registered my replacement rifle from Ruger HPD told me that the rifle is still registered to me in the state of Hawaii. So if that is any indication, once its registered to you its yours.

LEO's and all federal agencies are exempt under this same HRS.

So by simply working for say, DHS you would be exempt?

I used the memorandum that I obtained from my legal office (USCG).  HPD also sent me a copy of their requirements for the memo.

Since it was the 9th district court that ruled in favor of "shall issue" could Hawaii CCW advocates now have the leverage they need?
