I get the feeling it's all a slide of hands to distract people from the serious issues. I wasn't a fan of either candidate but between a liar with experience and a businessman who's bankrupted many businesses to save his own ass the lesser of evils to me was the liar.  All politicians lie about what agenda is important to them until they get in office even if they do it inadvertently. It's easy to say Trump did multiple times that Obama was screwing up then he turns around and says it's a lot different when you're in the seat making those decisions yourself. You can't run the country like you run a business so hiring half of his family and friends that have no experience whatsoever is a stupid move one that has everybody gone the International Community laughing at us. When it gets to the point where you're trying to discredit your own FBI and people that you placed in these positions yourself simply because you can't own up to the Shady crap you've done is disheartening. He can't fix Healthcare for the thousands upon thousands veterans so how is he going to do it for the country the ACA all the shortcomings that it did have was better than nothing to me.

In my opinion he was a civie most of his life and didn't spend his life as a politician. He did attend the MYMA and I can only imagine as a cadet, there's lots of pomp and circumstance.  So while many in the rank and file of DC politics see it as a waste of time and money, perhaps jaded in careers in politics, President Trump may just be seeing it as a way to show appreciation for the military .

Libs on TV continue to deny the indictments imply anything about Trump and his people.  They are holding out hope that this was just the "first round" of indictments. 

I think if they had any Trump-related charges, they would have been announced by now, or at least leaked to the press through that information sieve called the FBI and DOJ. 

Thirteen Russian trolls bad-mouthing the candidates, a statement that no Americans knowingly colluded with them, and no other indictments.

Sounds like 8 years, millions of dollars, and a bunch of "resistance" energy poorly spent.  We already knew of the Russians hacking the DNC and using social media BEFORE Mueller.  Such a waste, and a huge distraction meant to delegitimize Donald Trump's presidency.  The media and all who followed the Russian-created "Not My President" BS should be embarrassed.

Not if he ever wants to be reelected...political suicide to do anything real harsh...like AWB. He would totally lose his base.

I suspect he will look into more stringent background checks and maybe something related to mental health.

He should look into why the FBI dropped the ball on this one and other prior incidents. He could harden schools with either voluntarily trained teachers or armed security. I would think each school would present a different set of circumstances and a good assessment of schools would be worth looking into. JMHO

According to facebook exec. Russia spent the bulk of their ad money AFTER the Nov. election. Their main goal was to spread dissent and anarchy within the US and other western nations. Thanks to MSM, liberal politicians, celebrities, and others they have had success. I strongly advise everyone, liberals, and conservatives to read the book titled: Disinformation by former Romanian spy chief Lt. Gen. Pacepa. For decades the Russians have managed to damage the West by spreading all sorts of disinformation aided and abetted by useful idiots in the US and other nations. The "dezinformatsiya program" employed moles and well intentioned fools to create much hatred and fear within nations. The book is so relevant in times like these.

Have you ever held a security clearance?  Trump isn't the only one who can do that.
 
Unit commanders have the power to grant an interim clearance when the mission requires it, and if a preliminary review of the clearance application appears to have no show-stoppers.  The clearance investigation is processed simultaneously while the individual is allowed to work. 

This happens quite often for people who held clearances in the past and might need a new investigation to reinstate their clearance.  Sometimes the investigation takes an exorbitantly long time, and there's not enough people able to perform those duties.  Commander's discretion.
